Over the course of the past couple months, I started unsubscribing from unnecessary email subscriptions, YouTube accounts, and even unfollowed some “toxic” Instagram accounts. As a result, I was able to find accounts on Youtube that were actually motivating, inspiring, and therapeutic. Here are my top 10 most viewed and also favorite accounts!
I subscribed to Matt’s account fairly recently. Aside from the impeccable quality of the videos, Matt’s content is educational AND entertaining. I love listening to his ideas on life, habits, and productivity and also love watching the genuine (and sometimes hilarious) relationship between him and his wife. I would definitely recommend his channel for anyone looking for some quality and unique content on productivity and learning to lead a better lifestyle.
2. Prince Ea
I love Richard Williams (aka Prince Ea)!!! He has a special way to make you empathize and connect with almost every one of his videos. His content is mostly wellness based, but it’s extremely unique from the other common YouTube accounts that may focus on the same thing. He also does videos on climate change, politics (watch the video linked above ππ½- absolutely amazing!), and a variety of other topics. Huge fan of this man and would definitely recommend to everyone!
I just smile whenever I watch a Pick Up Limes video βΊοΈ. In fact, I’m smiling right now writing about this account. Sadia, the stunning woman behind Pick Up Limes, is such a warm and wholehearted person. She shares a lot of nutritional content, but also shares an equal amount of wellness and productivity type videos. Sadia is a minimalist, so all her videos are super simple and elegant. They honestly just elevate my mood instantly because she just vibrates positivity through her videos. Love this account very much!
4. Better Ideas
Honestly, I subscribed to this account just 2 weeks ago. I would say that this account is pretty similar to Matt D’Avella’s, but it has its own uniqueness to it. The video above is one of my favorite videos from this account. I haven’t explored this channel as much as I have the others, so I can’t really recommend it to anyone yet. However, based on the minimal number of videos I’ve seen so far, I personally am enjoying myself with his content π
5. Lana Blakely
Lana Blakely‘s account also gives me warm vibes. She’s from Sweden and is a really simple woman. Lana’s videos are mostly on philosophical and social topics. One of my favorite videos of hers is the one linked above ππ½. In it, she asks “What is reasonable to care about and what isn’t?” and then she goes to explain this concept in a simple way (with excellent cinematography btw!).
6. Mel Robbins
This is one of my favorite videos from Mel Robbins‘s account. I’m sure most of you already know who Mel Robbins is – a fierce, raw, and real motivational speaker. Often times, when I hear speeches, I tend to wander off into my own thoughts. However, when Robbins speaks, I’m automatically drawn into what she’s saying and feel compelled to listen. She’s also different from other motivational speakers, in the sense that she speaks the truth. She doesn’t sugarcoat anything and that’s what I love about her!
7. Jay Shetty
Jay Shetty is someone that almost everyone knows at this point. He recently released a book titled Think Like a Monk and it was an amazing read! For those who may not know Jay Shetty: Shetty was a former monk, and is now one of the most popular motivational speakers and podcast hosts. Maybe it’s his British accent, but I just love watching his videos- mainly because he’s also very straight forward and direct. A lot of his videos have scripts with actors actually enacting a situation that Jay then deciphers and addresses. In the video linked above ππ½, one quote of Jay’s that stuck out to me was “You can’t find someone before you find yourself.” Absolutely love Jay Shetty (and his wife!) and I would definitely recommend his channel for anyone interested.
8. Kevin Jubbal
Kevin Jubbal was a former plastic surgeon resident, and is now an entrepreneur and the founder of Med School Insiders. His account is geared for people who are primarily interested in medicine as he discusses a lot of med related topics and does many “A Day in the Life” videos with those in the medical field. I have watched SO MANY of Kevin’s videos, whether that be on his personal account or on the MedSchool Insiders account. He gives med-related tips and information that not many others give. On top of all that, he is also direct and honest about the information he puts out, which I appreciate. I highly recommend his personal channel AND the official MedSchool Insiders YouTube channel for any med-interested folks.
This account is VERY DIFFERENT from the other accounts on this list. I found One Stop Dance recently and it’s a group of 3 female dancers who slay π in every single one of their dance videos. Their videos are short and yet, they manage to leave me in awe each time. I watch these when I need a quick break from studying or doing other work because they lighten my mood by making me jam out to amazing songs.
10. Other YouTube videos that I absolutely love and watch on repeat!
I love Deshauna Barber. I’ve listened to this speech a countless number of times and am left inspired every time. She has an amazing stage presence and is also one of the few people that can make others listen to her when she speaks!
I kid you not, I listened to this speech every day for a week and a half straight. I’ve teared up almost every single time. Denzel Washington leaves such a profound impact on people and I absolutely love him for that. His words carry meaning and force us listeners to get off our asses and work towards what we believe in.
Priyanka Chopra is an astounding speaker. She is so confident and inspires me to reach that level of confidence. I adore this speech of hers because her 12 rules on conquering through life are perfect! I have also listened to this numerous times. At the end of it, I am fully energized and ready to tackle the world.
